It’s easy to understand why when you think about how many professionals have moved to working from home after the COVID-19 pandemic began. Whether it’s a full-blown office or a TV tray at the couch, everyone has scrambled to get their workspace at home functional, inspiring, and beautiful.
When this client reached out to us, they were working and teaching from their Houston home. The main concern was getting this teacher a workstation that would double the use of their space by housing their Roland keyboard in the desk. We think it turned out beautifully and we were so happy to be able to provide a white glove delivery and install to insure it was setup well in the client’s home.
We absolutely love the simplistic design and the combination of Walnut and Brass. The legs are matte brass-colored steel legs custom made by our ultra-talented local metalworker, Eric. The side drawer is full extension soft-close finished with a matte brass pull. The desk is 57″ long, 24″ deep, and 32″ tall. The piano keyboard drawer is a 52.5″ full extension drawer that allows the keyboard to pull out for playing. The desk was finished with Osmo Polyx. We really love the way this finishes and withstands wear. (They did not pay or barter us to say this. When we come across a good product, we like to show it some love.)
